Old Fashioned Recipes

A few of our favorite cocktail and mocktail recipes to make with our Old Fashioned Syrup!

Crescent Old Fashioned

2 oz bourbon

.25-.5 oz Old Fashioned Syrup

Add ingredients to a rocks glass with ice and stir to combine. That's it!

Orange Spice Espresso Martini

2 oz vodka

1 oz espresso

.5 oz coffee liqueur

.5 oz Old Fashioned Syrup

Make it Zero Proof: Skip the vodka and coffee liqueur and top with tonic. Espresso tonics are delicious!

In a pinch, cold brew can be substituted for fresh espresso (although you'll get the best cocktail with the real thing, because the hot espresso is what makes for the thick foam). Simply add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake until the shaker is too cold to hold, and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with three espresso beans -- one for health, one for wealth, and one for happiness.

Spiced Lemondrop

2 oz vodka

1 oz lemon juice

.75 oz Old Fashioned syrup

Make it Zero Proof: skip the vodka and substitute with chilled green tea or your favorite non-alcoholic vodka.

We know this one might sound far-fetched but trust us - our Old Fashioned can be thought of as an Orange Spice syrup, and this extra-citrusy take on a Lemondrop is delicious! Shake all your ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with an orange peel (don't forget to zest it over top first!).

Whiskey Sour

2 oz whiskey

.75 oz lemon juice

.75 oz Old Fashioned Syrup

Optional: 1 egg white

If making with an egg white, add all ingredients to a shaker without ice (including the egg white), shake for about 20 seconds, then add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 10-20 seconds. If making without an egg white, skip the shaking without ice. Double strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Old Fashioned Latte (Zero Proof)

6 oz hot coffee

2 oz whole milk, oat milk, or other dairy alternative of your choice

.5 oz Old Fashioned Syrup

Use a milk frother or immersion blender to froth your milk and Old Fashioned syrup. Pour the mixture into a mug and top it with hot coffee.
